What essence guarantees crit in PoE 2 0.5?

Essence of Seeking guarantees a +#% to Critical Hit Chance suffix, and Greater Essence of Seeking rolls higher. Apply it to a magic item to upgrade it to rare with crit already locked in. It is your one guaranteed mod, so spend it on the stat you least want to gamble.

Which essence adds flat physical damage to a weapon?

Essence of Abrasion guarantees an Adds # to # Physical Damage prefix. There is no essence for % increased physical damage in 0.5; that mod can only come from a random Exalted Orb slam.

Should I craft or buy in PoE 2 0.5?

What does Omen of Whittling do?

Omen of Whittling makes your next Chaos Orb remove the lowest item-level modifier on the item. Note that it modifies the Chaos Orb, not the Orb of Annulment. To remove a random prefix or suffix instead, use Omen of Sinistral or Dextral Annulment with an Orb of Annulment.

How many prefixes and suffixes can a rare weapon have?

A rare item has up to three prefixes and three suffixes, six modifiers in total. A magic item has only one prefix and one suffix, so Regal or essence it to rare first to open the rest.

Can I use the crafting helper on console?

Yes. Console players cannot copy item text, so use Take a photo: snap your item on your phone and the helper reads it exactly like a pasted item, then guides the craft the same way.
